Community Outreach

At Southwestern, there are always opportunities to serve those around you. Here are some of the community outreach programs that students can participate in.  Outreach opportunities abound on campus. Habitat For Humanity and Metropolitan Charity are just a few of the organizations we work with. Music Outreach is one of the most popular, and well attended. Visiting shelters, nursing homes, and hospitals take place at 2:00 p.m. each Sabbath.  Hikes, Bible studies,  prayer walking, lectures, Christian videos, ‘Toys for Tots’ and  feeding the homeless are other activities.  Announcements are sent out during the week.
